What we do
How does Green Belt Bank & Trust protect my personal information? To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
We also maintain other physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect this information and we limit access to information to those employees for whom access is appropriate.
How does Green Belt Bank & Trust collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • Make deposits or withdrawals from your account

We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.

Federal law gives you the right to limit only

  • sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness
  • affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else? Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.

Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Green Belt Bank & Trust does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.

Online Privacy Guidelines

Online Information.

When a customer or any other person visits our website, we do not obtain any information about that person.


We use strong encryption technology to protect the privacy of personal information supplied to us or accessed through Green Belt Bank and Trust online banking services.


To provide you with better service and quicker access to the sections of our website of interest to you, we may use a “cookie”. Our website is directed to a general audience. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children on our site.

Green Belt Bank and Trust’s Privacy Principles apply to individuals. 

With respect to commercial credit information, we follow the Robert Morris Associates “Code of Ethics for the Exchange of Credit Information”. We do not disclose information to parties outside Green Belt Bank and Trust, including affiliates, concerning the existence or administration of a trust, except to comply with a law, regulation or judicial proceeding or as deemed necessary in the administration of the trust.
